Join the Aberdeen Lean Forum:
Why should a corporation join?
First and foremost, the Aberdeen Lean Forum promotes a strategy of conducting business based on the principles of Lean Business Systems. Utilizing this approach to business, companies gain the competitive edge needed to sustain business operations in the local community.
Second, by joining the Aberdeen Lean Forum, members gain access to Lean techniques and training that may not be available otherwise. Cooperative learning and benchmarking with other local manufacturers provide hands-on knowledge at the "Gemba" level.
Third, the Aberdeen Lean Forum works with the local educational systems to promote Lean in the educational system. The intent is to educate future business leaders in a manner beneficial to local employers to provide a prosperous future for northeast South Dakota.
Fourth, the Aberdeen Lean Forum periodically offers free, interactive video conference sessions to its membership with leading Lean practitioners from across the the globe (as can be arranged).
And finally, the Aberdeen Lean Forum is currently FREE to any corporations with an interest or curiousity in Lean.
How does a corporation join?
The Aberdeen Lean Forum is open to any business within reasonable driving distance of Aberdeen, SD.
A business should be willing to host events, participate in events at other businesses and agree not to disclose proprietary information beyond the forum membership.
